Embedding videos with controls in PowerPoint


There are 3 ways to add video content to a PowerPoint presentation. Two ways have been used for many years: embedding a video(Insert>Movies and Sounds>Movie from file) that can be paused and resumed or hyperlinking to a video so that it opens in windows media player. However, if you want students to be able to fast forward, pause, review, stop and easily adjust the volume of a video while the presentation is running try embedding the video as a Windows Media control object.
